Thinking about my relationship with God. Quote marriage isn't about happiness, it's about holiness.

I liked Mike Sweeney's analogy about talking to his dad for a few minutes a night when he was tired as way to explain prayer and how its importance can't be under-emphasized. I liked his recommendation to choose friends who will be there to lift you up when you fall. I also enjoyed the talk at the end by Mike Piazza, especially as it pertained to what pop culture is teaching our children and the need to combat that. It was also good to hear of his feeling of an emptiness when he skipped Mass after his mother told him it was his choice as to whether or not he attended.
